The work studied the features of the clinical manifestations of lumbar spinal stenosis in a relatively young category of military patients, the negative dynamics of the disease in which is associated with constant overloads in the conditions of military service during the war. The features of the diagnosis and surgical treatment of lumbar spinal stenosis using open and endoscopic surgical techniques were determined. Based on the analysis of the treatment results, the advantages, indications and contraindications to the use of open and endoscopic surgical interventions were determined.
