The purpose of the work is to reduce energy consumption, increase productivity and quality of technological operation by improving the prototype and introducing the machine into production for loosening the soil surface and destroying weeds. Research methods are experimental studies in laboratory and field conditions using experimentally developed and existing standard methods. Processing and analysis of results using mathematical statistics methods. The report presents a technological and design scheme, structure, technical characteristics and description of the machine. The work on the development of initial requirements, substantiation of the technological scheme of the machine was carried out with the participation of employees of the technological departments of the Institute of Horticulture. After the prototype was manufactured, experimental studies were conducted in laboratory and field conditions according to the developed design documentation.
