A study of the seed potato market in the region was conducted based on content analysis of data from specialized institutions and government bodies. The key factors of demand and supply formation were analyzed, and problematic aspects of the functioning of the certified potato seed segment were outlined. Scenario economic modeling of the feasibility of organizational and technological solutions in the production of basic seeds was carried out. An approach to justifying the optimal level of seed material renewal was determined, taking into account the ratio of additional revenue and additional costs.
