The purpose of the work is to substantiate the methods and means of assessing the technical condition of engineering infrastructure objects of drainage systems and to obtain information and analytical materials on modern practices of assessing the technical condition of complex engineering structures, taking into account their long-term operation. The research methods are theoretical and experimental, in particular analytical, field, calculation, methods of forecasting, system analysis and generalization. The information and analytical materials on substantiating the methods and means of assessing the technical condition of drainage systems are structured and systematized, namely: modern practices of assessing the technical condition of engineering structures, including engineering infrastructure of land reclamation systems, are studied; analytical studies of the requirements and criteria for compliance with the technical conditions of engineering infrastructure objects of drainage systems are conducted; current regulatory legal acts on ensuring and maintaining the proper technical condition of drainage systems are analyzed. The scope of application of the obtained results is landowners and users of drained lands, operational and water management organizations, agricultural and water management educational institutions. The implementation of the obtained results is the possibility of reducing costs for repair and maintenance measures by at least 30%, as well as increasing the yield and gross harvest of agricultural crops on drained lands by 20-25% by maintaining the technical condition of the engineering infrastructure of drainage systems.
