The first section shows that impurities of various materials significantly affect the electrical conductivity of pulsed discharge plasma in water, which opens up possibilities for controlling its properties. The second section is devoted to the study of sources of dropless highly ionized plasma flows of zirconium vapor, where an effective increase in the degree of ionization using an additional discharge in the ? x ? fields is demonstrated. The third and fourth sections present the results of studying the interaction of low-energy protons with aluminum and nickel, which are important for assessing radiation effects in nuclear energy materials. The fifth section contains a description of the technology for creating new metal microstrip detectors of ionizing radiation with high radiation stability and spatial resolution. In the sixth section, the mechanism of generation of zonal flows in a rotating self-gravitating fluid is theoretically investigated and the conditions of their nonlinear instability are determined.
