the purpose of the project is to investigate the situation of the educational and scientific sphere in the countries that in the middle of the 20th and the beginning of the 21st centuries. overcame the traces of war of various complexity (Federal Republic of Germany, Austria, South Korea, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia), develop practical recommendations for transforming education and science of Ukraine into an effective factor of post-war reconstruction and a basis for the further development of Ukrainian society on the way to European integration.

The reform of education and science in West Germany (FRG), South Korea, Bosnia and Herzegovina in the conditions of post-war reconstruction is studied. The impact of the First and Second World Wars on the state of education in Ukraine and a number of European countries is characterized. The views of modern Ukrainian experts, intellectuals, and journalists on the role of science during the Russian-Ukrainian war and post-war reconstruction are clarified. The role of education and science in the post-war reconstruction of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the late 20th and early 21st centuries is revealed. The role of institutions and the tools they use to implement the culture of memory in Germany within the federal educational space is highlighted, and it is proposed to use some aspects of the German experience in the educational environment of Ukraine. Changes and innovations in the adult education system of Poland in the early 21st century are highlighted. The content and directions of the policy of South Korean governments in the field of science and technology during the 60s of the 20th and early 21st centuries are revealed.
