The purpose of the work is to substantiate the optimal technical and technological solutions for the restoration of the engineering infrastructure of irrigation systems. The research methods are analytical, technical and economic justification of methods for assessing the technical condition, statistical, and system analysis. Scientific and methodological approaches to assessing the technical condition of the engineering infrastructure of irrigation systems and prospects for restoration are systematized. Criteria for assessing the technical condition and operational reliability of irrigation systems and structures and the regularity of the process of restoring the engineering infrastructure of land reclamation systems are established, which is estimated by the economic efficiency coefficient, the decrease of which from the maximum negative level to the minimum value (less than 0.07) indicates the need for restoration. The main directions for optimizing technical and technological solutions for the restoration of engineering infrastructure are determined: the creation of "smart" irrigation systems; repair and construction of modern GTS; transition, if possible and economically feasible, to autonomous energy supply using renewable energy sources; replacement of outdated energy and inefficient pumping and power equipment with modern, less energy-intensive ones with a regulated drive; prospects for energy modernization of hydraulic structures and water management and reclamation systems. The implementation of the proposed technical proposals for the restoration of the engineering infrastructure of reclamation systems will help ensure the stability of irrigation systems, which allows reducing energy consumption by 15-20%.
