The object of study is the Compton quasi-monochromatic gamma quantum source NESTOR. The purpose of the work is to develop and study a Fabry-Perot resonator with auto-tuning for accumulating laser pulses. The research method is to examine the structure of the spectra of laser radiation and the Fabry-Perot optical resonator in the NESTOR X-ray radiation source system in order to obtain high-density clusters at the point of interaction between electrons and photons. - The processes of laser pulse accumulation in a Fabry-Perot optical resonator at different degrees of spectrum matching were studied. - All components of the phase-modulated pulse signal describing the passage of a laser beam in a laser-optical system were determined in order to optimize its diagnostic and self-regulating systems. - A laser-optical system with coherent addition of laser pulses in a Fabry-Perot resonator with phase auto-tuning of frequency was developed, followed by modernization of the laser-optical system in connection with the transition to the international frequency standard of 2856 MHz. Based on the results of the work performed, it is planned to continue research with the aim of further improving and putting the NESTOR source into trial operation.
