The study established regularities of growth, ontogenesis, and productivity formation in alfalfa, sainfoin, clover, goat’s rue, trefoil and sweet clover under the influence of bioclimatic and technological factors, and identified critical BBCH growth stages at which the optimal crude protein content in forage biomass is maintained. On the basis of integrated field and laboratory investigations, cultivar-specific technologies for high-protein agrophytocenoses were substantiated, and mowing regimes and energy inputs were optimized to ensure 3-4 cuts per season with up to 79 t/ha of green mass yield and 8.5-14.8 t/ha of dry matter containing 18-22% of crude protein. A method for harvesting and conserving biomass with high nutrient retention was developed and patented, and technical specifications were developed for the production of the pelleted legume feeds with high energy and protein value. It was experimentally demonstrated that inclusion of the 5-15% portion of the pelleted legume feeds in diets of growing geese effectively replaces an equivalent proportion of cereal components, improves feed conversion efficiency, and reduces feed costs. Synthesis of the results obtained in 2021-2025 made it possible to establish an integrated technological cycle for the sustainable production of high-protein feeds based on perennial legumes, ensuring environmental stability of agricultural landscapes and high economic efficiency of feed production.
