Keywords: abiotic stress, fertilizer deficiency, nitrogen management, sulfur, nutrient ratio. The object of research is the process of managing nitrogen nutrition in the “fertilizer-soil-plant” system through optimization of the N:S ratio levels in the composition of fertilizers and soil. The purpose of the research is to improve nitrogen management in agricultural production practice under conditions of abiotic stresses and fertilizer deficiency in the war and post-war periods by optimizing the ratios of nitrogen and sulfur forms available to plants in the soil. Research methods are comparative statistical research methods, short-term observations of soil-agrochemical processes in field experiments, mathematical modeling, analysis and generalization of literary materials obtained in previous years of research on this topic. The report contains the results of scientific research on determining the optimal N:S ratios in fertilizer mixtures for soybeans, corn, spring barley and oilseed flax. The effect of the positive interaction of N and S in the plant nutrition system on the indicators of their adaptive abilities to abiotic stresses, on improving the consumption of nitrogen and other macronutrients from fertilizers, yields and quality of plant products is proven. The agronomic and economic efficiency of optimizing N:S ratios in the fertilization system of the studied crops is presented. Product Description popup.authors Yevheniia Y. Hladkikh Mykola M.
