The aim of the work is to develop energy-efficient technology for the production of blast furnace fuel using domestic raw materials, which will be a key factor in strengthening Ukraine's defence capabilities. During the first stage of the work, "Comprehensive study of Ukrainian coal suitable for blast furnace fuel production. Mathematical analysis of the statistical relationship between the quality indicators of Ukrainian coal," a comprehensive analysis was carried out on the raw materials of Ukraine's coal basins (Lviv-Volyn and Donetsk) and a set of instrumental, standardised methods for studying the composition and properties of coal and coke was determined. The composition and properties of coal and coal mixtures were determined using standardised experimental methods – sieve, technical (Wrt, Wa, Ad, Sdt, Vdaf), plastometric (x, y), petrographic (R0, Vt, Sv, I, L, vitrinite reflectogram) and elemental (Cdaf, Hdaf, Ndaf, Sdt, Odaf) analyses in accordance with current DSTU and international ISO standards. In addition, the Hardgrove Grindability Index (HGI), Rogge's index of friability (RI), free swelling index (FSI), dilatometric indicators according to the Odbier-Arnou method (tI, tII, tIII, a, b) and plastic properties according to the Gieseler method (Fmax, tI, tmax, tз, Δt), etc. Product Description popup.authors Ihor V.
