The object of the study is water supply and drainage systems; steam boiler rooms; water intake and hydraulic structures; natural and wastewater lighting. The purpose of the work is to develop methods for protecting steam boilers from scale and corrosion, develop effective methods for treating wastewater from oil refining enterprises, assess the impact of determining factors on the productivity of filtration basins of systems for artificial groundwater replenishment, study the regularities of lighting processes, their analysis and scientific justification in order to increase the efficiency of lighting for use in modern water purification technologies, study hydrological regimes and their impact on the processes of water intake from mountain rivers for hydropower systems. Research methods - theoretical research, process modeling, improvement of calculation methods, results of laboratory studies. An analysis of the physicochemical properties of industrial amines and their impact on the effectiveness of anti-corrosion protection of steam boilers was carried out. Methods for treating wastewater from oil refineries were studied. Effective methods for treating wastewater from oil were determined. Factors that determine the productivity of systems for artificial replenishment of groundwater reserves were analyzed. Features of replenishment processes and the impact of operating conditions of structures on their flow rate were determined. The course of the clarification processes depending on the phase-dispersed state of water impurities was analyzed. The directions of research of mountain rivers and their sections with different hydrological regimes for use as sources of small and medium hydropower were determined.
