The planned research will contribute to the development of modern aquaculture in Ukraine in terms of the targeted expansion of the species composition of cultivation facilities, increase in the economic value of fishery products with the use of improved technologies for the reproduction and cultivation of largemouth bass. popup.description2 Technological foundations for the formation of repair and broodstock herds of largemouth bass (trout perch) for pond and industrial aquaculture in Ukraine have been developed. Research has been conducted that will provide a significant contribution to the development of the scientific foundations of modern aquaculture in Ukraine on the issues of directed expansion of the species composition of cultivation objects, increasing the economic value of fish farming products using technologies for intensification of reproduction and cultivation of largemouth bass. Based on the results obtained, a broodstock of 3–4 years old was formed and technological instructions were developed for the formation of broodstock of largemouth bass (trout perch) using various aquaculture technologies in the conditions of Ukrainian fishery enterprises.
