The purpose of this work is to develop proposals and effective mechanisms for restoring Ukraine's energy system, which has suffered as a result of the war. The tasks are to formulate recommendations for the creation of a system of protection against physical seizure or destruction of energy facilities; to develop directions for the creation of a highly sustainable energy sector through the creation of a decentralized energy sector and energy self-sufficient regions; to formulate proposals for cross-border energy cooperation; characterizing promising trends in Ukraine's economic development in the context of changes in the energy system's operating models; assessing opportunities for increasing commercial electricity trade between Ukraine and the EU; and providing proposals on factors for reducing the man-made impact on the environment and ensuring civil protection in the field of man-made safety in the energy sector.
