Performativity emerged as a dynamic process combining spectacle, interactivity, and social action, evolving from avant-garde experiments of the 20th century to today’s digital and hybrid forms. Under the influence of digitalization, globalization, and the Russian-Ukrainian war, these practices have acquired a universal character, permeating everyday life, media, and politics. Special attention was devoted to the Ukrainian context: performative actions, festivals, transcultural projects, and wartime artistic initiatives have become powerful tools of cultural resistance, preservation of national identity, and countering information manipulation. The study demonstrated that traditional art criticism approaches are no longer fully adequate for contemporary phenomena, thus proposing new interdisciplinary methods incorporating posthumanism, discourse analysis, and artificial intelligence studies. The results were published in 33 scientific articles (including in Web of Science, Scopus and category "B" journals), a chapter in the collective monograph «Art in Defense», and presentations at 30 international and national conferences. The practical value lies in recommendations for cultural policy, educational programs, and Ukraine’s information security strategies. The research fosters a deeper understanding of art’s role in crisis conditions and opens prospects for further exploration of digital technologies’ impact on creative practices.
