The study included a detailed analysis of specific risks for scientific organizations, particularly threats of industrial espionage and cyberattacks on financial and accounting departments where confidential information and trade secrets circulate. To protect scientists' workstations, the selection and implementation of cybersecurity software, such as Bitdefender Antivirus Free and Comodo Free Firewall, was justified. These software solutions effectively monitor network traffic and block malware with minimal system load. A key result of this research is the development of an innovative quantum encryption key distribution scheme based on the physical laws of quantum mechanics and ensuring the information-theoretical stability of transmitted data, protecting it from future attacks using quantum computers. A complete stack of quantum key distribution protocols has been developed, covering stages from photon transmission via optical fiber to security enhancement and error correction using specialized algorithms (in particular, a cascade algorithm). Practical implementation of the proposed approaches enables the establishment of secure communication channels between geographically dispersed departments of the institution for the secure exchange of design documentation and process regulations. The scientific and practical recommendations developed based on the results of the research are universal and can be successfully implemented in the activities of any scientific institution in Ukraine to enhance its digital resilience and protect its intellectual potential.
