Purpose of the study: To develop new tactics for selecting endoscopic treatment methods for vesicoureteral reflux in children based on determining the diagnostic significance of the ureteral dilatation index. Criteria for selecting endoscopic treatment methods for vesicoureteral reflux have been identified, which are: the degree of ureteral dilatation, the activity of the microbial-inflammatory process, and the assessment of kidney function. It has been established that the ureteral dilatation index is a more sensitive factor in predicting the effectiveness of endoscopic injection than the degree of vesicoureteral reflux. The principle of applying various methods of endoscopic treatment of vesicoureteral reflux (STING, HIT-1, HIT-2) in children based on determining the frequency and nature of kidney damage, taking into account the diagnostic method for determining the ureteral dilatation index, has been substantiated. The enzyme features of the metabolic reaction of the tubular apparatus of the renal parenchyma depending on the degree of suppression of upper urinary tract urodynamics, the ureteral dilatation index, and the endoscopic correction technique for vesicoureteral reflux are revealed. It has been established that the degree of dilatation of the upper urinary tract and the activity of the microbial-inflammatory process lead to inflammatory, pro-inflammatory, and profibrogenic reactions of the renal parenchyma, regardless of the endoscopic treatment method for vesicoureteral reflux.
