A technological process for chrome plating was developed, the necessary equipment was selected, and the consumption of material and energy resources was calculated. The optimal composition and concentration of the electrolyte for the electrochemical synthesis of peroxyacetic acid using a platinum anode, which ensures high electrochemical yield and stability of the peroxide component, were substantiated. The optimal values of current density and temperature for effective electrochemical synthesis and their influence on the kinetics of reactions were investigated. The potential ranges of combined electrochemical anodic processes in acetic acid solutions have been established, and the mechanisms of peroxy group formation on the surface of the platinum anode have been determined. The role and effectiveness of halide ions as promoters and the impossibility of using heavy metals in the process of anodic oxidation of acetate ions were determined, which allows increasing the current effiviency of peroxyacetic acid. Based on the analysis of the kinetic regularities of Zn-Ni alloy deposition from pyrophosphate-citrate electrolyte in a wide range of electrolyte composition and current densities.
