The purpose of the work – development of an ontology-based decision support system to improve the efficiency of entomophages production management. Research methods are systemic and synergistic approaches, ontology-based analysis. Scientific and practical recommendations on the ontological analysis of entomophages production processes have been developed, which consist of: analysis of modern research on the use of ontologies in agriculture, ontologies of technological processes of entomophages production, ontologies of processes of intellectual support of decision-making in the production of entomophages, ontology of processes of innovative intellectual management of the production of the entomophage Habrobracon hebetor. An ontological knowledge base in the production of entomophages has been developed, which contains classes, concepts and built-in ontologies. A decision support system based on ontology in the production of entomophages has been developed, the components of which are the Visual Understanding Environment software environment; user interface; ontological knowledge base. The system allows you to reduce the time spent on decision-making under conditions of uncertainty, automate information search, and store information in a structured form. The research results have been implemented in the educational process and can be used in technological processes of mass production of entomological products for biological plant protection, in the processes of integration and digitalization of knowledge. The work is a continuation of the research work "Development of an innovative intelligent system for managing the production of entomophages". The scope of application is agriculture, in particular, the production of entomological preparations for plant protection; scientific institutions of the relevant profile.
