Methodological recommendations "Genetic structure and variability of the population of the causative agent of brown rust of wheat in the zone of the Right Bank Forest Steppe of Ukraine 2021-2025" have been developed. Effective genes for the resistance of host plants to the action of local populations of pathogens have been identified. The influence of the genotype of the host plant on the population of the pathogen was studied. Changes in the genetic structure of the pathogen population and the consequences of such a change for the host plant have been determined – this is the loss of effectiveness of some wheat resistance genes and the expression of others. Features of the formation of the virulence of the population of pathogens to identify the genetic mechanisms of control of this trait and the identification of potentially dangerous races (strains) of pathogens has the goal of preventing the negative impact of the pathogen on wheat crop Product Description popup.authors Halyna M.
