The purpose of the work is to develop theoretical and methodological principles for managing organic carbon in agrocenoses and to propose adapted measures for its stabilization in the context of low-carbon development. Research methods are analytical and bibliographic, theoretical and analytical, field, laboratory and analytical, calculation, synthesis, comparative, mathematical and statistical, descriptive. Data on the theoretical and methodological principles of managing organic carbon in agrocenoses were analyzed and systematized based on the generalization of domestic and foreign experience. The methodology for soil carbon balance assessment was improved. The modern terminological system in the field of soil carbon was analyzed and the corresponding nomenclature of indicators was unified. The impact of military operations on the content of organic carbon in soils of the Kharkiv region was studied. Soil carbon pools of agrocenoses in different soil and climatic zones of Ukraine were studied and characterized. Theoretical principles for the creation and application of soil improvers in the context of soil carbon management were developed. The qualitative composition of soil organic matter depending on the fertilization system in different soil and climatic zones of Ukraine was studied. Scientific principles for the management of soil carbon of agrocenoses in context of low-carbon development were developed. Patent for invention “Method for obtaining a soil improver for stabilizing the humus state of soils and plant nutrition” was obtained. The results of the research work “Adapted set of measures for stabilizing and increasing carbon in the soil”. The scientific publication “Theoretical and methodological principles for the management of organic carbon of agrocenoses in the context of low-carbon development” was prepared Product Description popup.authors Artemyeva Kateryna S Maksym А.
