The object of research is the process of forming and implementing the innovative potential of pea varieties (Pisum sativum L.) of domestic selection in conditions of improved varietal agricultural technology, in particular the mineral nutrition system. The purpose of the research is to develop methodological principles and economic tools for increasing the innovative potential of domestic selection varieties by improving varietal agricultural technology using the seed pea (Pisum sativum L.) example in relation to mineral nutrition to ensure competitive advantages in the seed market. Research methods – comparative statistical research methods, short-term field experiments, analysis and generalization of literature data, analytical studies that will be performed using standardized methods. The report contains the results of two-year scientific research that confirmed the stable differences in the nutritional needs of modern pea varieties of domestic selection under different agroclimatic conditions. An innovative approach to optimizing fertilizer is proposed, taking into account varietal specificity. In 2025, this provided an increase in yield of 0.4 t/ha for the Sotnyk variety and an additional economic effect of 3750 UAH/ha. The technology was tested in field conditions.
