The best entries — Zlahoda (33.50 t/ha), KR 21 (29.95 t/ha), Poluzir’ya (29.50 t/ha) and Mylovyd (27.80 t/ha) — showed absolute increases of 37.0%, 22.49%, 20.65% and 13.7%, respectively. For dry matter yield, four entries — Mylovyd, KR 21, Poluzir’ya and Zlahoda — significantly exceeded the standard by 0.85–2.45 t/ha. Protein content in dry matter of four entries — KR 71, KR 69, Patron and Plidnyy — was significantly higher than the standard by 1.43–2.89%. For seed yield, 12 entries with yields of 3.00–3.54 t/ha were identified; these exceeded the standard by 10.4–28.5%. Based on the results of the studies, scientific and methodological recommendations were developed for conducting the breeding process of spring-sown field pea.
