Basic components of the system: scientific and methodological foundations of monitoring, ecological standardization of soil quality under the influence of chemical pollution of HM, remediation of contaminated soils, which include the developed scientific and methodological support for diagnosing the quality of chemically contaminated soils; scientific principles for assessing the quality of chemically contaminated soils; methodological foundations for predicting the quality of chemically contaminated soils and scientific and methodological support for ecological standardization of the quality of chemically contaminated soils and their remediation. The basis for developing a system of measures to prevent and stop land degradation processes to preserve soil health and harmonize their productive and ecological functions; for the development of sustainable land use strategies in areas at risk of soil contamination and local and diffuse contamination. Novelty: the scientific and technical result of the R&D task is to obtain new knowledge on monitoring (diagnosis, assessment, forecasting) of soil contamination of various buffer properties, ecological standardization of soil quality, ecological rehabilitation of contaminated soils and restoration of their health; providing a scientific basis for soil and ecological management of contaminated soils under technogenic influences; a new method of biological remediation of contaminated soils of agrocenoses and urban soils of urban systems has been developed.
