Object of research: processes of growth and development, formation of yield and seed quality of crops. Purpose of work: to optimize the production process of grain, legume and oilseed crops in order to realize their yield biopotential and seed quality through anti-stress and adaptogenic cultivation technologies, as well as to assess the breeding and genetic characteristics of varieties and hybrids. Research methods: field, laboratory, statistical, comparative and computational. The studies demonstrated that the combination of potash fertilizers with the NPK+Mg complex has a synergistic effect, enhances photosynthetic activity and increases winter wheat yield. A mathematical model confirmed a close relationship between winter wheat productivity and meteorological factors of the Southern Steppe. The selection of winter wheat varieties adapted to this zone was substantiated, and the adaptability and ecological plasticity of new winter rye varieties and hybrids were determined. The influence of primary tillage methods on the hydrothermal regime, mineral nutrition and sunflower productivity was established. The use of AKM+Ca was shown to be effective in improving growth and photosynthetic processes of sunflower under arid conditions. An electrophoretic method of seed storage proteins was proposed to assess genetic purity and hybridity of sunflower hybrids. Combined application of Rhizohumin with biostimulants (Stimpo, Regoplant) increased root nodulation, photosynthetic indices and pea yield by 11–14%.
