The object of research is the regularities of processes in sod-podzolic bound sandy soils, which can change under the influence of local raw materials (basalt tuffs). Research methods are dialectical, experimental analysis, analytical and statistical, laboratory, mathematical and statistical methods. The scientific approaches to the methodological aspects of the development of crop fertilization systems using local raw materials (basalt tuffs) have been studied, generalized and substantiated. An optimal fertilization system using local raw materials (basalt tuffs) was established and the patterns of their influence on the yield of potato tubers, agrochemical and physicochemical indicators of soddy-weakly podzolic bound-sandy soil were studied. In particular, an increase in qualitative and quantitative indicators of the yield, the content of individual nutrients, as well as an improvement in the moisture-retaining capacity of the soil with their application was revealed. A draft technical conditions was developed - Natural soil improver "Basalt tuff", TU U 20.1-05539695-00_:2024); a production test of potato fertilization systems for their use was carried out; scientific and practical recommendations were prepared "Application of local raw materials (basalt tuffs) on soddy-podzolic soils of Western Polissya in conditions of climate change and limited resource potential"; A set of documents has been prepared and submitted for consideration to obtain a protection document (patent) for a utility model: u 2025 02861 “Method of applying basalt tuff for growing potatoes” Product Description popup.authors Andrii M.
