INFORMATION BASE FOR SUBSTANTIATING MANAGEMENT DECISIONS: THEORY, METHODOLOGY, PRACTICE. The object of the study is the information base of the process of making management decisions in various sectors of the economy of Ukraine. The purpose of the work is scientific and theoretical substantiation and development of practical recommendations for improving the information base of the process of making management decisions in modern conditions of the functioning of the economy of Ukraine. Research methods are a systematic approach to solving problems, methods of abstract-logical method (analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, analogy and comparison), modeling and factor analysis methods. The theoretical aspects of forming the information base for substantiating management decisions are highlighted; Methodological approaches to the formation of information support for making effective management decisions by enterprise management are investigated; practical recommendations are provided for improving the information base for substantiating management decisions of business entities. The scientific result of the research work is: identifying problematic aspects of the formation of the information base for substantiating management decisions and outlining the directions for their solution; substantiating recommendations for the use of methods and improving the methodology for forming the components of information support for making management decisions to ensure the effective operation of enterprises; substantiating practical recommendations based on the theoretical and methodological support for the formation of the information base for making management decisions.
