The scientific fundamentals development of bioreactor design optimization based on hydrodynamic flows modelling Research methods – optical visualization method of the macrostructure of flows in bioreactor by stearic acid water suspension, physical modelling method of agitation hydrodynamic in the cross-sections of fermentation equipment; method of analysis and structuring of flow patterns in bioreactors. The results of the research are: fundamentals development of bioreactor design optimization based on hydrodynamic flows modelling, including: optimization criterions of bioreactor design based on the analysis of fermentation medium flow patterns; optical visualisation method of flows in a bioreactor; methodology for modelling flows in bioreactors; mass transfer optimization method in a bioreactor based on flow visualisation; model of bioreactor optimal hydrodynamics; methodology for bioreactors development with optimal hydrodynamics. The research is a continuation of a series of works on the development and improvement of fermentation equipment for microbial pesticides industrial manufacturing (Research Works 10.00.03.04P, 10.00.03.08P, 11.00.01.04P, ETI “Biotechnika” NAAS). The results of the work can be used for development of bioreactors for microbial pesticides manufacturing with optimal hydrodynamics, as well as for improvement of existing fermentation equipment.
