During irradiation, the quasi-crystalline phase of the coating was saturated with hydrogen in an amount of up to 1.2 H/at.Me with the formation of a solid solution. 2. The effect of hydrogen release from a solid solution based on a quasi-crystalline phase (decay of a supersaturated solid solution) with the formation of spherical pores in the coating volume and blisters on the surface was observed. 3. Recrystallization of the quasi-crystalline phase. 4. A stimulated local phase transformation with the formation of a phase of 2/1 crystalline approximant from a quasi-crystalline phase, which was observed near pores ≥ 200 nm in size, around which compressive stresses arise. 5. Irradiation with hydrogen plasma leads to a significant reduction in compressive stresses and, in some cases, to the formation of tensile stresses in the tungsten layers.
