Metagenomic analysis of the microbiome of soils disturbed as a result of hostilities, and recommendations for restoring their state. popup.description2 For the first time, data on the quantitative and qualitative composition of the microbiome of soil samples disturbed as a result of hostilities in Ukraine in Kyiv, Chernihiv and Sumy regions were obtained by metagenomic sequencing. It was shown that for most samples, the Shannon biodiversity index and Simpson index are high, which indicates a high taxonomic diversity, the absence of a clear dominance of one or more species in the corresponding ecotopes. Samples from the crater and control from Kyiv region, which were collected in the immediate period after the explosion, differed in biodiversity indices. Analysis of the studied samples revealed that in the case of a sample from the crater in Kyiv region, a shift in the ecological function of the soil microbial community was observed towards the intensification of metabolism, namely an increase in the number of representatives of the Actinobacteria and Bacilli classes and the Pseudomonas genus. When classifying microorganisms at different taxonomic levels (phylum, class, order, family, genus, species), it was shown that the taxonomic diversity of sample K.K1 is almost twice as high as that of sample K.V1.
