The purpose of the work is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the current state of SACS for technical means, identify the limitations of existing support systems, and determine priority directions for their improvement. Research methods: information search, comparative analysis, structural-functional analysis, classification methods, and mathematical modeling. Results: During the first stage of the R&D, ways to improve the efficiency and environmental safety of vessels were analyzed. The implementation of electronic fuel injection control systems (ME-C/ME-B type engines), the use of permanent magnet shaft generators, modern separators, and automated ballast control systems were examined. The impact of digitalization on the maritime industry was investigated, specifically the prospects of the symbiosis between artificial intelligence and ship energy systems for route optimization and equipment failure prediction. Approaches to ensuring collective cybersecurity of autonomous vessels using decentralized analysis for protection against GPS spoofing were developed. Mathematical modeling of fuel consumption by a marine diesel generator was performed using the Lagrange interpolation polynomial. The obtained results serve as a basis for further development of advanced mathematical and software support for SACS.
