Purpose of the work – to evaluate the effectiveness of different doses of nano-compounds of trace elements in maintaining energy balance, prooxidant–antioxidant homeostasis, and metabolic processes in rabbits during critical periods of growth, development, and productive use, particularly under heat stress conditions. Research methods – biostatistical, biochemical, physiological, zootechnical, and statistical. The study obtained new scientific data on the biological effects of nano-compounds of zinc, iodine, selenium, sulfur, and germanium applied individually and in combination with copper, cobalt, and chromium. The mechanisms of action of organic nano-microelement supplements on weaned young rabbits and does under physiological load were elucidated. Dietary inclusion of nano-citrates of trace elements, including combined Zn–Ge–Se–Cu–Co–Cr complexes for two months, increased red and white blood cell indices and reduced lipid peroxidation products, cholesterol, urea levels, and alkaline phosphatase activity in blood. Oral administration of zinc, selenium, and germanium citrates positively affected immunobiological reactivity, hematopoiesis, detoxification capacity, antioxidant status, growth, and development, contributing to mitigation of heat stress effects. Recommendations were developed on application schemes and dosages of nano-based organic trace element supplements to enhance rabbit resistance, productivity, environmental safety, and product quality.
