The formation of live body weight, reproductive performance, and milk productivity was influenced to a certain extent by genetic factors, with the highest values observed in the offspring of high-producing sires and representatives of the Elevation line. Optimal combinations of genotypes and the selection of animals from different lines ensured an increase in milk yield and an improvement in milk quality. It was determined that within-line breeding contributed to the stability of economically useful traits, whereas interline crossing promoted an increase in the intensity of live weight gain and productivity. The highest milk yields were obtained from cows with a Holstein inheritance level exceeding 93.75%, whereas animals with a lower proportion of Holstein blood were characterized by a higher milk fat content. It was established that the determining factor in the formation of milk productivity in cows is the sire, whose contribution to milk yield amounted to 24.6–31.8% and to milk fat yield 25.4–29.6% (P<0.001). A significant effect on productivity traits was also exerted by line affiliation, the country of origin of the sires, the method of parental mating, and the breeding method of the cows. Among the ancestors, the most substantial influence on milk yield and milk fat content was exerted by paternal granddams, sires, and paternal grandsires—up to 30.9%. The economic efficiency of the applied breeding decisions was confirmed: the farm obtained a net profit of UAH 36,401.97 with a profitability level of 39.3%. The highest additional profit (UAH 31,465.95) was ensured by the daughters of the sire Detective, and among the lines—H.H.
