After using the specified additive, moderate leukopenia was noted, along with a decrease in the number of granulocytes in the blood of piglets of the experimental group. These changes are physiological, in addition, the absence of other changes in the studied hematological indicators indicates the absence of a toxic effect of the drug. A slight decrease in the content of circulating immune complexes in the blood of piglets of the experimental group was noted. These data, together with the results of hematological studies, indicate the protective effect of the studied drug. The results obtained indicate a positive effect of the feed additive on the productive indicators of pigs during the growing period, such as average daily gains and feed conversion. The above conclusions indicate the prospects for further research into the effectiveness of a feed additive based on microelements and milk thistle extract.
