The concept of a comprehensive and environmentally friendly approach to extracting associated resources and utilizing coal industry waste is based on identified relationships between geomechanical processes and changes in outgassing during intensive mining and mine closure. This approach integrates modern geomechanical modelling technologies with in-mine research. For the first time, patterns were identified between methane outgassing from mined-out areas and key geomechanical factors, including mining depth, roof rock texture, and time elapsed since stope operations. These dependencies enable reliable methane emission forecasting under typical mining and geological conditions, forming the basis of a predictive methodology. Methodological principles were proposed to achieve a rational balance in the extraction of associated raw materials. Multifactor geomechanical modelling was improved by considering large rock mass zones, texture disturbances, and specific mining and geological conditions near industrial facilities. A set of process-based solutions was substantiated to support efficient recycling of secondary resources and waste disposal, enabling forecasting of production outcomes and development strategies under various operational scenarios Product Description popup.authors Malashkevych Dmytro S.
