Purpose of work. Improving the environmental safety of the state by developing a new technology for cooling gaseous waste of industrial enterprises. Research methods – a systematic approach that combines the latest information technologies, classical mechanical-mathematical and computer modeling, as well as laboratory and industrial experimental verification of the results obtained. Results obtained. Within the scope of the reporting stage, energy-efficient technical solutions for cooling and controlling the parameters of flue gases from industrial enterprises were developed. A comprehensive analysis of the physicochemical characteristics of flue gases from the cement and oil-and-gas industries was carried out. Their main features were identified, including high temperatures of up to 130 °C, a significant content of water vapor, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide, nitrogen and sulfur oxides, metals and their compounds, as well as solid particulate matter. Based on the obtained data, technical requirements were formulated for equipment capable of reliable operation in aggressive high-temperature environments.
