The object of research is the processes of formation of structure and operational behavior of wear- and impact-resistant coatings produced by arc welding using flux-cored electrodes under conditions of intensive impact-abrasive wear. The purpose of the work is to increase the service life and reliability of machine and equipment parts by developing, optimizing, and implementing efficient arc welding technologies for applying wear- and impact-resistant coatings, taking into account real operating conditions. The research methods include experimental, bench, and industrial testing of welded coatings; numerical modeling of the stress–strain state; structural, phase, and mechanical analysis of materials; and comparative evaluation of performance characteristics in relation to commercial electrode materials.
