A pedagogical study of the peculiarities of preparing future primary school teachers for the formation of key and subject competencies in junior schoolchildren, in particular in the conditions of pedagogical practice, distance and blended learning, has been conducted; The state of the problem under study is analyzed according to the results of a survey of teachers and approbation of modern teaching methods. The study is comprehensive in nature and is aimed at scientific, theoretical and methodological substantiation of the system of professional training of future primary school teachers in accordance with the ideas of the New Ukrainian School, the requirements of digitalization of education and modern social challenges. The methodological foundations of the competence training of future teachers have been clarified, the expediency of integrating educational fields in primary school, the development of communicative, logical and digital skills of students has been substantiated, attention has been focused on the formation of "soft skills" of the future teacher and the use of digital educational resources in the modern educational process. The results of the study had a positive impact on the educational process in general secondary education institutions, since the developed methodological materials, textbooks, manuals and electronic resources are used by primary school teachers in real pedagogical practice, which contributes to the introduction of modern interactive teaching methods, the development of logical thinking, speech activity, critical thinking and the ability of students to apply knowledge in life situations.
