Recommendations are proposed for determining the material constants of hereditary creep in structural materials and for predicting critical creep-induced deformations of structural elements. The nonlinearity of material behavior is described through the nonlinearity of instantaneous stress–strain diagrams, based on the hypothesis of a unified isochronous diagram. The structure of the heredity kernels is represented by fractional-exponential functions. Experimental validation of the constitutive equations and the procedures for identifying the parameters of the heredity kernels is carried out by solving creep and relaxation problems under stationary loading conditions.
