SPATIAL DEVELOPMENT, DIVERSIFICATION, SYNERGIC EFFECTS, METHODICAL APPROACH, TYPOLOGY, CONCEPTUAL PROVISIONS, REGIONS The object of the research is the process of creating synergistic effects for the spatial development diversification of Ukraine in the context of global and security challenges. The purpose of the research stage is to develop conceptual provisions of the spatial development of Ukraine based on diversification and the use of synergistic effects. An assessment of the spatial development diversification of Ukraine’s regions by components in the geographical and sectoral dimensions was carried out using the developed methodical approaches. A comprehensive, integral assessment of diversification was conducted using the principal components method and linear convolution for 2021 and 2023. An analysis of the typologies of spatial development existing in the world scientific literature and EU and OECD documents was carried out and a typology was proposed based on the level and features of diversification; an analysis of the economic component of the diversification of the regions of 4 EU countries (Poland, France, Czech Republic and Romania) was carried out and the types of their spatial development were identified. An analysis of world theories and concepts of spatial development and principles of spatial development in the EU and OECD was carried out; conceptual provisions for the spatial development diversification of Ukraine in wartime and the period of post-war recovery were proposed. Forecast proposals for promising research areas include the development of models for assessing and selecting priority areas of expedient diversification in the post-war period, organizational and institutional mechanisms for diversifying the spatial development of Ukraine.
