The object of the study is the activities of educational security police officers in educational institutions. The subject of the study is communication between educational security police officers and participants in the educational process and psychological factors that influence this process. Research methods are selected based on the defined goals and objectives, taking into account its object and subject: analysis and generalization of scientific psychological literature and the regulatory framework on the research problem, synthesis of the information received, content analysis. Results: a practical guide was prepared to provide police officers of educational security services with: structured, psychologically valid and applied tools of professional communication, techniques of emotional self-regulation and de-escalation of dialogue, algorithms for interaction with students, parents and teachers, communication scenarios in difficult and crisis situations, guidelines for barrier-free and ethical communication with children. The publication was developed taking into account the real conditions of service, in particular: communication during prolonged air alarms, interaction with children who have experienced trauma, loss or chronic stress, conflict prevention in conditions of high emotional tension, the need for clear, humane and understandable communicative solutions at school.
