The object of the study is the psychological aspects of auto-aggressive and addictive behavior among employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the mechanisms of their occurrence and methods of prevention. The subject of the study is the methods, means and techniques of psycho-prevention of auto-aggression and addictive behavior among employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, their effectiveness in increasing the level of psychological resilience and preventing professional maladaptation. The research methods are selected based on the defined goals and objectives, taking into account the object and subject, by using a complex of general scientific methods (theoretical and empirical), namely: analysis, comparison, generalization, systematization and interpretation of empirical data based on scientific literature on the research problem, study of regulatory and legal documents, analysis of domestic and foreign experience in diagnostics and expert assessment of the effectiveness of psycho-preventive programs existing in law enforcement agencies. The results obtained: methodological recommendations have been prepared to study the issues of generalizing key mechanisms for the development of self-destructive behavior, identifying psychological and behavioral risk markers, outlining the spectrum of chemical and non-chemical addictions that are most common among the personnel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and analyzing their impact on personality, professional activity, and service reliability.
