Head Lezhniuk Petro D., Доктор технічних наук Registration Date 12-02-2026 Organization Vinnytsia national technical university popup.description1 Developing an approach to decentralizing the generation of the country's electricity system and forming local electricity systems (microgrids) based on renewable energy sources popup.description2 The purpose of the work is optimal control, monitoring and diagnostics of LES with microgrid, renewable energy sources and elements that ensure their autonomy in the electric power system. Research methods - for the analysis and solution of the tasks set, the SMART Grid principles, generalizing methods of similarity theory and modeling, as well as methods for building intelligent systems were used. Matrix algebra, graph theory, decomposition and clustering were used to describe mathematical models and form computational algorithms. The work solves an important scientific and applied problem of substantiating methods, mathematical models and ways to increase the energy efficiency of RES with an uneven generation schedule in the electricity balance of energy systems. The criterion method of similarity theory is adapted to optimize the costs of reserving RES in relative units. The principle of least action has been applied as a mechanism of self-optimization and self-organization in SMART Grid technology for automation of a LES with RES and elements that ensure its autonomy in the unified power system. A hardware and software complex for monitoring the state of a microgrid with RES has been developed for the functioning of a power and electricity balancing system at a given time interval and hourly forecasting of PV generation and its intra-daily adjustment. The results of the study show the possibility and feasibility of decentralizing generation in the power system in the form of LES based on renewable energy sources and energy storage systems. To increase the energy efficiency of a LES, an intelligent system for controlling its modes has been used, which allows ensuring reliable power supply both during parallel operation with the power system and autonomously. The basis for the digital transformation of the power system has been created, which is necessary for parallel operation with the Eastern European power system.
