A comprehensive analysis of productive and reproductive traits and their selection and genetic parameters in different genotypes of the Southern beef cattle was carried out. The integrated system-based analysis of animal groups is grounded on the results of evaluating genetic groups of daughters of individual sire bulls, which provides a holistic understanding of the patterns and essential characteristics of breeding herds of the Southern Beef breed and its gene pool as a whole. Groups of daughters of individual sire bulls are considered as elementary units of analysis. Recommendations have been developed on the use of system analysis to assess the dynamics of adaptation levels and the specific features of the formation of productive and reproductive traits of the Southern Beef breed under changing climatic conditions.
