Based on the project results, the current state and specific features of the analytical application of cloud point extraction preconcentration were analyzed. Using scientometric approaches the main trends and key directions in the advancement of cloud point extraction preconcentration were identified. A supramolecular solvent was proposed for the preconcentration and spectrophotometric determination of the natural food colorant E160a (β-carotene). An approach to cloud point extraction preconcentration and spectrophotometric determination of zinc was developed, in which the intensification of phase formation is achieved by introducing a deep eutectic solvent and applying an air-assisted technique. The acid-base properties of initiators of low-temperature micellar extraction were studied, and their mechanism of action was proposed. Criteria for selecting initiators of low-temperature cloud point extraction namely salts of aromatic amines and related compounds were developed. The complexation of Fe(II,III), Cr(III,VI), and V(IV,V) with a series of 6,7-dihydroxybenzopyrylium derivatives was investigated, and the stoichiometry of the interaction products were established. A set of combined extraction-spectroscopic methods was developed for the determination of Ge(IV), Bi(III), Zn(II), Ni(II), total iron, different oxidation states of chromium (Cr(III,VI)) and vanadium (V(IV,V)), as well as the food colorants β-carotene and carmoisine.
