The implementation of the proposed topic is also important for understanding modern spelling norms, explaining by specialists the process of forming these norms and justify the reasons for bringing them into line with the specific, historically formed features of the Ukrainian literary language that constitute its national specificity. The choice of the topic for the new linguistic research is due to the need to solve the urgent set of problems of standardisation and further normalisation of the Ukrainian literary language in accordance with the new demands of everyday life, to develop effective models of practical application of prescriptive norms in order to preserve the Ukrainian language's distinctiveness in the context of integration into the EU. That is why the results of this topic will contribute primarily to the deepening of national state-building, linguistic cohesion of Ukrainian society during the war period, and further organisation of language construction in independent Ukraine. The theoretical generalisations and practical recommendations set out in the chapters of the collective monograph 'Actual Problems of Ukrainian Language State-Building in the Crisis Conditions of War' have potential application in the educational process of higher and general education in Ukraine.
