The purpose of the work is to adjust the "Project for the degassing of the excavation section of the lava No. 136 of the n7n «Sokalskyi» formation in terms of the removal of methane from the isolated working of the 130th side drift into the gas pipeline". Research methods are generalization and analysis of results, methods of mathematical statistics, calculations using standard methods. As a result of the work, the mining, geological and mining engineering conditions for the development of the excavation section of the lava No. 136 of the n7n formation of the SU «Mine «Stepova» of the SE "Lvivvugillya" were analyzed. The expected methane release within the excavation area, the air consumption for ventilation of the excavation area, the productivity of the degassing system were calculated and the choice of the method and scheme of degassing the excavation area was substantiated. Measures were developed to manage the degassing system during fires in mining operations. The “Adjustment of the degassing project of the excavation area of lava No. 136 of the n7n “Sokalsky” formation in terms of methane discharge from the isolated working 130 of the side drift into the gas pipeline” was developed for the SU «Mine «Stepova» of the SE "Lvivvugillya". As a result of the application of the developed recommendations, gas safety during mining operations will be increased, which is of great socio-economic and environmental importance.
