The purpose of the work is to develop recommendations for ventilation of the «Stepova» mine of the SU «Mine Management Pershotravenske” of PJSC "DFEK PAVLOGRADVUHILLYA" when supplying fresh air through the skip shaft during shutdown of the VOD-30 M fan in unit No. 1. Research methods are generalization and analysis of results, methods of mathematical statistics, calculations using standard methods. As a result of the work, the ventilation and gas regime of the «Stepova» mine was analyzed, as well as the mining, geological and mining-technical characteristics of the main transport workings equipped with belt conveyors. The possibility of a coal dust explosion in the conveyor working, which is ventilated by a fresh air ventilation stream, was assessed. Recommendations have been developed to ensure dust-gas and fire safety when supplying fresh air to the mine through the skip shaft of unit No. 1 and operating the main transport workings equipped with belt conveyors with non-separated ventilation of the «Stepova» mine. As a result of applying the developed recommendations, the safety of mining operations will be increased, which is of great socio-economic and environmental importance.
