The purpose of the work is to develop recommendations for the ventilation of the excavation section of the shaft No. 184 and shaft No. 184 "bis" of the n7n "Sokalskyi" formation for the entire period of development and operation of the main transport workings equipped with belt conveyors with non-separated ventilation. Research methods are generalization and analysis of results, calculations using standard methods. As a result of the work, the mining, geological and mining engineering conditions for the development of the excavation section of the shaft No. 184 and shaft No. 184 "bis" of the n7n "Sokalskyi" formation of the SU «Mine "Lisova" of the SE "Lvivvugillya" were analyzed. Methane release was investigated and the air flow rate for ventilation of the excavation section of pit No. 184 and pit No. 184 "bis" of the n7n "Sokalskyi" formation at the first, second and third stages of mining was calculated. "Recommendations on ensuring gas safety when using different ventilation schemes at three stages of mining of the excavation section of pit No. 184 and pit No. 184 "bis" of the n7n "Sokalskyi" formation of the SU «Mine "Lisova" of the SE "Lvivvugillya" were developed. The application of ventilation schemes at three stages of mining of excavation sections was agreed upon, provided that the recommendations on ensuring gas safety were implemented. As a result of the application of the developed recommendations, gas safety during mining operations will be increased, which is of great socio-economic and environmental importance.
