Genetic constructs were transferred into bacterial cells for multiplication and storage of DNA molecules, as well as for infection and production of the target recombinant protein ecarin in plant cells. We have shown for the first time in the world the possibility of obtaining a biologically active snake venom protein (ecarin), which was able to rapidly clot blood plasma, in plant cells. The advantage of this method is to increase the safety of biological products for humans with an orientation towards the concept of sustainable development.
